Origin Story & Identity
When my son turned one, I started paying a lot closer attention to what I was putting on his skin. I wanted something truly natural, no fillers, no unnecessary ingredients, just something simple and nourishing.
I was introduced to tallow by a friend of mine.
I started researching and quickly fell in love with how traditional, effective, and skin-compatible it is. So I began making my own, at first just for my family, then as Christmas gifts for friends and family.
After sharing a few extras on Facebook, I honestly didn’t expect much… but the response was overwhelming. People kept coming back for more, and what started as a small, personal project quickly grew into something bigger.
Now, The Tallow Spot has become a way for me to provide simple, natural skincare for other families who are looking for the same thing I was
Every product is made with intention, using ingredients I trust and use in my own home.
Fun Fact:
My holistic journey started in my childhood.
My mom taught us to read labels, to choose clean foods, and to be mindful of what we put on our bodies. That mindset stuck with me and shaped so much of how I live today.
Now, it’s carried into The Tallow Spot.
My brand is simple… because I’m simple. I believe in using real, nourishing ingredients you can recognize and trust, nothing extra, nothing unnecessary.
What do you make?
I make simple, natural skincare using grass-fed grass-finished beef tallow and other clean, nourishing ingredients
Everything is made in small batches and designed to support your skin without all the unnecessary extras.
From whipped tallow and diaper creams to lip balm, magnesium oil, elderberry kits and mor, each product is something I personally use on myself and my family every day
Which product are you most proud of?
It’s hard to choose, but if I had to pick… my whipped tallow and lip balm
The whipped tallow is where everything started, it’s the first product I made and still something I use every single day.
My Lip Balm… I never leave home without it.

Philosophy & Practices
From start to finish, it takes about a week to make a single jar of tallow.
We use a traditional method of both wet and dry rendering, and each batch goes through 3-4 renders to make sure it’s properly cleaned and done right.
Every jar is hand washed, made in small batches, and even piped by hand
I’m just a mom on a mission to provide clean, simple skincare for my family 🤍
That’s really where all of this started.
My products have been used on my newborn and by my 98-year-old grandma, which means everything I make has to be gentle, trustworthy, and truly nourishing.
If it’s not good enough for them, it’s not something I would ever share

What’s your favorite part of the work you do every day?
Knowing that what I make is being used in other homes, on other families—just like it is in mine.
From babies to grandparents, it means so much to be a small part of someone’s everyday routine with products they can trust.
What started in my own home now gets to be shared with yours… and that’s something I don’t take lightly
What’s your favorite way to enjoy something you make?
Honestly, I use my whipped tallow as an everyday face moisturizer, it just works so well!

And one of my favorites, using a tiny amount as a hair treatment on dry ends or even as an overnight mask

Creating products that fit naturally into everyday life and continuing to serve families like mine will always be at the heart of The Tallow Spot.
I’m also always experimenting with new ideas in the background—some make it to the shop, and others stay within my circle of friends and family
