Details

Grown just outside Denton, this fresh cilantro comes from Ladybug Lane Veggies’ thoughtfully managed quarter-acre garden, harvested fresh for the week and handled with care.

What makes it different

This is bright, tender, fresh-cut cilantro, the kind that wakes up a whole meal with one handful. It has that unmistakable citrusy, herbaceous flavor that makes tacos, curries, beans, rice bowls, soups, and dressings feel instantly fresher.

Cilantro is one of those herbs where freshness really matters. When it’s grown thoughtfully and harvested close to home, the flavor is cleaner, greener, and more alive than the sad little clamshell that’s been sitting in a grocery cooler a little too long.

Ladybug Lane grows using Earth-friendly, sustainable practices that prioritize living soil and ecosystem balance over speed or volume. The result is a fresh herb that feels simple, but makes a big difference.

How we love to use it at home

  • Chopped over tacos, nachos, burrito bowls, or quesadillas
  • Stirred into rice, beans, lentils, or soups right before serving
  • Blended into salsa verde, chimichurri, green goddess dressing, or cilantro-lime sauce
  • Tossed into slaws, grain bowls, and big crunchy salads
  • Sprinkled over curries, ramen, noodle bowls, or stir-fries
  • Mixed with lime, garlic, and olive oil for an easy marinade

Storage & freshness tips

Treat it like a bouquet: trim the stems and place in a glass of water, then loosely cover with a bag and store in the fridge. Change the water as needed.

For best flavor, use within 3–5 days.

If it starts to soften, don’t toss it: blend it into a sauce, dressing, marinade, or freeze chopped cilantro with water or olive oil in an ice cube tray.

A gentle note on practices

Ladybug Lane Veggies isn’t certified organic by choice. Instead of investing in certification, Natalie invests directly in sustainable, Earth-friendly farming practices that go beyond the baseline and focus on long-term ecosystem health.
