Origin Story & Identity
How did you get into this and what’s the story behind Clean Inside & Out?
In life we all overcome challenges, obstacles and hurdles. I've learned that with a little faith, as "big" as a mustard seed, God enables me to move mountains. After 12 years working as a optometrist / optician and manager in the Netherlands the Lord placed a new desire in my heart, to share God's Word and inspiring soaps. By faith, hard work, patience and perseverance in the year 2020 this small Christian owned Texas business came in to existence.
Do you have a fun fact, tradition, or personality quirk that makes your products uniquely you?
Every soap is handmade in small batches using the cold process method and cured for 5–6 weeks to create a harder, longer-lasting bar. All skin and hair care products are inspired by ingredients and Scripture found in the Bible, honoring a simple, pure approach to wellness. One favorite saying around the workshop: Soap making is like baking... just don't lick the spoon!
What do you make?
Clean Inside & Out creates handmade soaps, shampoo bars, body lotions, facial creams, body oils, facial oils, toners, scrubs, magnesium cream, and other wellness-focused products. Every item is handcrafted in small batches with an emphasis on quality ingredients and intentional formulation.
What are you most proud of making?
The products closest to the founder's heart are the handmade soaps, shampoo bars, lotions, and creams. These products reflect the care, patience, and attention to detail that go into every batch.

How would you describe your philosophy in your own words?
All our skin and hair care products are inspired by ingredients and Scripture mentioned in the Bible, honoring the simple, pure approach to wellness that God intended. Soothing, Original, Artisan creations crafted with purpose and prayer.
We believe in doing things the right way, the slow way, the heartfelt way. There’s no rushing, no shortcuts, no cutting corners, no compromises, just time honored methods, faith-inspired formulations and a deep commitment.
What’s something about your practices, product quality, or process that most people don’t know?
_ Tradition: Our soaps are handmade in small batches using the cold processed method, each bar cures for 5 - 6 weeks creating nurturing, harder, long lasting soaps.
What’s the biggest challenge of making your products the way you do?
Getting it all right and patience (There is a lot involved in formulating and combining the right ingredients, to create products that have the right Ph and are nourishing and moisturizing.

Our Prosper Facial Soap is used as a facial mask too (contains Activated Charcoal, Clay and Dead Sea Mud)
