Origin Story & Identity
I started making my own beeswax bread bags after I started baking homemade sourdough. My family was eating all my bread and I was sailing through plastic bags. I didn’t love using plastic. My bread would mold within a day or two and I just didn’t feel good about putting out food in plastic. I didn’t know about other options, so I started to research and found beeswax bread bags. I decided I could learn to make my own and quickly friends and family were eager to purchase the beautiful bags I have been creating.
My business name comes from Psalm 100, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” In our home, the joyful noises come from the kitchen with delicious food blessed by God (yummmmm), singing and dancing.
I make all sorts of things, but I sell organic beeswax bread bags.
I take great pride in my bread bags. Each bag fabric is selected by me, washed, measured, cut, sewed, and infused with beeswax. I love the quality of these bags and how well they work to keep my homemade bread fresh.

Philosophy & Practices
I make my bags with the intentional care that I use for my family. Since these bags store food made with the best ingredients I can get my hands on, the bags I store that food in, should also be made with the absolute best and cleanest materials I can find.
Not all beeswax bread bags are made the same. My bags have significantly more beeswax than other bags, infused inside and outside, which makes a huge difference with the freshness of your bread/pastries. You can find other bags with less beeswax, but the bread will get stale very quickly.
Daily Life & Personal Connection to the Work
I love how beautiful these bags turn out. Most of the process of making these bags is completed with them inside out, the final step of waxing the bags feels like a grand reveal to see the finished product beautiful and complete.
I love to fill my bags with cookies and give them as a gift for friends and family.
I think different size bags are in the future, think lunch bags for meals on the go.
