Origin Story & Identity
King’s Fire & Smoke BBQ Sauce started as a family recipe that has been in our family for over 25 years. My dad made the sauce when I was growing up, and it became something our family enjoyed at cookouts, gatherings, and meals together.
Now, we are proud to carry on that family tradition by sharing the same BBQ sauce with the local community. What started as something special within my family has become something we get to offer to others through local farmers markets and community events. Since the sauce is named after my family, every bottle means something personal to me. It represents tradition, family, great flavor, and the love of bringing people together through good food.
A fun fact about King’s Fire & Smoke BBQ Sauce is that it is not just a product I decided to sell, it is a family recipe with over 25 years of history behind it. The sauce has been part of my family since I was growing up, and now I get to keep that tradition alive by sharing it with others.
The name also makes it personal because it represents my family. Every bottle carries a piece of that family story.
King’s Fire & Smoke BBQ Sauce is a small-batch Texas BBQ sauce sold in sealed 12 oz bottles. We currently offer Original and Original Spicy. Our sauce has a bold smoky flavor with balanced sweetness, tang, and Texas-style heat. It pairs well with brisket, ribs, chicken, burgers, pulled pork, fries, wings, and dipping.
Being able to bottle that family tradition and share it with people locally is something I am very proud of.

Philosophy & Practices
My philosophy is to keep the sauce authentic, flavorful, and rooted in family tradition. I believe good food brings people together, and that is exactly what this sauce has done in my family for many years.
This reflects in the care I put into the sauce and the importance of keeping the recipe true to its roots. I want every bottle to represent the same flavor, tradition, and quality that made the sauce special in my family.
Most people may not know how much hands-on work goes into every bottle. We do not just make the sauce and put it on a table. The glass bottles have to be boiled and prepared, the sauce has to be made, each bottle has to be filled, and we handwrite on the bottles to give them a personal touch.
That matters to me because I want customers to feel the care behind what they are buying. Every bottle carries family history, hard work, and pride.
The biggest challenge is how much time and care goes into doing things by hand while still growing the business. Making the sauce, boiling the glass bottles, hot-filling the sauce, bottling everything, and handwriting on each bottle takes time, but it is important to us because it keeps the product personal, safe, and true to the family tradition.
We want to share the sauce with more people, but we also want to make sure every bottle still feels like it was made with care.
Daily Life & Personal Connection to the Work
Our favorite part is being able to share something meaningful with the community. It feels good to see people try the sauce, enjoy it, and take home something that has been part of the family for over 25 years.
Our favorite way to enjoy King’s Fire & Smoke BBQ Sauce is on grilled or smoked meats like ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and burgers. It is also great as a dipping sauce or brushed onto food while cooking for extra flavor.
We are excited to continue growing locally, attend more farmers markets, connect with more customers, and share King’s Fire & Smoke BBQ Sauce with more families. In the future, we would love to expand our offerings while staying true to the original family recipe.
