Christina's Organic Syrups

Small-batch syrups for lattes, sodas, mocktails, and joy.

Origin Story & Identity

How did you get into making syrups?

I have baked organically for years and started selling my baked goods in 2020. The syrups originated from me, a lavender latte lover, not being able to find a syrup on the market that wasn’t full of fake ingredients. I went into several stores and anything I looked at didn’t even have real lavender in it. I am a whiz with sugar so after being frustrated with no options, I made my own and it was delicious! A friend encouraged me to start selling that at the local market I attended and it took off! I grew my flavor line-up and customer base along the way.

Do you have any certifications or special licensing?

I have a Food Handler’s license, am a registered Texas Cottage Food business, and am in process to become a Food Manufacturer.

What makes Christina’s Organic Syrups uniquely “you”?

I typically make what I want to have myself and hope everyone else loves it! Lavender latte, rose matcha, bourbon vanilla old fashioned, ginger margarita. They’re so much fun to experiment with!

What do you make?

I make organic, dye-free 2:1 rich syrups and baked goods, crafted in small batches with quality ingredients and flavors that make your taste buds dance.

What are you most proud of making?

Products that bring joy to my customers and my family.

Philosophy & Practices

How would you describe your baking/making-stewardship, sourcing, and philosophy in your own words?

My philosophy is simple: let quality ingredients shine. I use high-quality, organic, dye-free ingredients with no preservatives and craft everything in small batches to create bold, authentic flavors you can feel good about enjoying.

How does this reflect in your practices?

It shows up in every step of my process—from sourcing organic, dye-free ingredients to crafting everything in small batches for freshness and consistency. I keep recipes simple and intentional, avoiding preservatives so the natural flavors can shine through in every bottle

What’s something about your practices that most people don’t know — but should?

When cooking the syrups, I use stainless steel pots with no coating. I use recyclable glass bottles to avoid any plastic leeching into the product when hot syrup is poured into it.

What’s the biggest challenge of making syrups the way you do?

It’s a labor of love and precision. I’m very careful with measurements and ingredients to ensure consistency in every batch. The biggest challenge is honestly the cleanup—hot, sticky syrup has a way of getting everywhere!

Daily Life & Personal Connection to the Work

What’s your favorite part of the work you do every day?

Creating moments of joy for my customers. I love turning everyday coffee and drinks at home into something more fun, flavorful, and special with my syrups.

What’s your favorite way to enjoy something you make?

Lavender/Pecan/Brown Sugar/Bourbon Vanilla latte, a lavender or rose italian soda (sparkling water + lavender/rose syrup), bourbon vanilla old fashioned, rose or lavender matcha!

What are you excited to grow, offer, or dream up for the future of your Christina’s Organic Syrups?

I’m excited to grow Christina’s Organic Syrups into a licensed food manufacturing business so I can ship nationwide. After a few unexpected career changes, I’ve taken this as an opportunity to fully invest in something I truly love. My goal is to build a sustainable business that supports my family and allows me to share my syrups with more people.
