FRESH! Friends don’t let friends eat store-bought honey.
This is not just raw honey with honeycomb added in. The bees built the honeycomb directly inside the jar.
Hive Riot Honey places these reusable glass jars in the hive, where the bees naturally build comb, fill it with raw North Texas wildflower honey, and seal it themselves. No cutting. No transferring. No arranging honeycomb after harvest. Just a rare, beautiful little piece of the hive, exactly as the bees made it.
"Friends don't let friends eat store-bought honey!" – Hive Riot Honey
What makes it different
Most grocery store honey is filtered, blended, and processed for consistency. Hive Riot’s honey is raw, local, and shaped by the blooms of the season.
This jar goes one step further: the comb was built in place by the bees. That means every jar is a little different, with natural variation in color, flavor, shape, and texture. It is part food, part keepsake, and part “how did they even do that?” conversation starter.
How we love to use it
• Spoon the honey over yogurt, oatmeal, or warm biscuits
• Slice off a piece of honeycomb for cheese boards
• Drizzle over toast, cornbread, or sourdough
• Add to tea, cocktails, or sparkling water
• Enjoy a small piece of comb straight from the jar
Storage & Freshness Tips
Store at room temperature. Crystallization is natural and a sign of raw honey. If needed, warm the jar gently in a water bath to reliquefy. The honeycomb is completely edible and can be enjoyed with the honey.
A Gentle Note on Values
Glass packaging reflects Hive Riot’s commitment to reuse, transparency, and doing things close to home. When the bees build the comb right in the jar, there is very little left to explain.
