Sourcing & practices

These drumsticks come from chickens raised outdoors across Windview’s more than 130 acres. Daily rotational grazing moves the flock onto fresh pasture, where the birds can forage for bugs and grasses and spend time in the sunlight and fresh air.

Their supplemental feed is sourced from a nearby mill and is non-GMO, corn-free, and soy-free. The chickens are raised without antibiotics or growth hormones.

What to expect

Five pounds of bone-in, skin-on drumsticks. Dark meat and the bone-in format make this a forgiving cut for roasting, grilling, braising, or slow cooking.

How to enjoy them

Season simply and roast, coat in barbecue sauce, cook over the grill, braise with tomatoes or spices, or bake until browned and crisp. Make the full bundle for a gathering or portion it into smaller freezer packs.
