Details

Package size: Approximately 1–1.06 lb

Ground hot chicken sausage from Windview Chicken Ranch, made for meals that could use more than a polite amount of personality. Windview describes this sausage as ground chicken with fresh spices only, without fillers, sugar, or preservatives.

Sourcing & practices

The chicken is raised outside on more than 130 acres of pasture in Boyd. Windview moves the birds to fresh ground daily through rotational grazing, allowing them to forage for grasses and bugs while spending their lives in the fresh air and sunshine.

Their locally sourced supplemental feed is non-GMO, corn-free, and soy-free, and the birds are raised without antibiotics or growth hormones.

What to expect

Approximately 1–1.06 pounds of loose ground chicken sausage with a spicy seasoning profile. There are no casings to remove, making it easy to crumble, shape, or blend into a dish.

How to enjoy it

Brown for spicy breakfast burritos, pasta sauces, pizza, chili, soups, stuffed peppers, or rice bowls. Shape into patties or meatballs, or combine with the mild sausage when feeding a household divided on heat.
