D’Ann’s signature pink pots are made in the USA, BPA-free, and returnable to her for a discount.
What to expect
Red Robin is a determinate tomato variety created for gardeners who want fresh tomatoes without committing an entire garden bed to them. Its naturally compact habit also makes it suitable for indoor growing when provided with the light and care a fruiting tomato needs.
This little plant comes with genuine space credentials: NASA selected Red Robin for the VEG-05 experiment, which grew dwarf tomatoes aboard the International Space Station to study crop production in space.
About the grower
Kurhan’s Plant Co. began after D’Ann expanded her family’s backyard seed-starting setup in search of plants they couldn’t find organically at conventional stores. More and more packets followed—organic heirloom peppers, medicinal herbs, pollinator plants, and unusual edible varieties—and the idea of sharing them with the community took root.
D’Ann now grows each plant herself in the Alliance area, combining a lifelong family gardening tradition with her love of research, uncommon varieties, and helping other people grow their own food.
