Details
From Lucido’s Pasta, a family-run operation with roots right here in Flower Mound, this tri-color orzo is built on generations of Italian recipes. Crafted with intention, using traditional methods and quality ingredients to create a pasta that’s versatile, structured, and full of flavor.
What makes it different
It’s made with a focus on texture and flavor first, using a slower, more intentional process than mass-produced boxed brands. The result is a small, rice-shaped pasta that cooks evenly, holds its bite, and absorbs flavor beautifully.
The tri-color blend adds a light layer of complexity, making even the simplest dishes feel a bit more considered.
How it cooks
Serves 2-4.
Boil until tender with a slight bite, just past al dente depending on how you plan to use it. It should feel soft but still hold its shape.
Reserve a bit of pasta water before draining if you’re using it warm. It helps bind sauces and create a smooth, cohesive finish.
How we love to use it
- Tossed warm with olive oil, herbs, and roasted vegetables
- Used as the base for bright, fresh pasta salads
- Simmered slightly longer for a risotto-style, creamy finish
- Paired with lemon, feta, and greens for something light and balanced
