Details

Certified Organic purple potatoes from Sapling Farms in Sanger, about 25 miles from 75022 as the crow flies. These are colorful, locally grown potatoes from a USDA Certified Organic family farm, perfect for making an everyday dinner feel a little more fun.

Sourcing & practices: Grown by Sapling Farms in Sanger, Texas, these potatoes are part of their seasonal organic harvest. Sapling is certified USDA Organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture and grows produce locally with organic principles at the center of the farm.

What to expect: Purple potatoes are beautiful roasted, smashed, or sliced into sheet-pan dinners. Their color makes them especially fun for kids’ plates, potato salads, breakfast hashes, and any meal that could use a little extra color.

About the farm: Sapling Farms was founded by Selvi, whose love of growing food traces back to her childhood on a farm in India. Today, Sapling grows fresh organic produce for families across the DFW area. Learn more on Sapling's Partner Page.
