Details

Pickled habanero peppers from Sapling Farms in Sanger, about 25 miles from 75022 as the crow flies. Made with peppers grown and harvested by Sapling on their USDA Certified Organic farm, these bring bright heat, crunch, and serious local flavor to the fridge door.

Sourcing & ingredients: Sapling Farms grows the habanero peppers themselves in Sanger, Texas, then turns the harvest into small-batch pickled peppers. While the finished jar itself is not certified organic, the peppers are grown by Sapling on their USDA Certified Organic farm, a big part of what makes these feel so fresh and connected to the season.

What to expect: These are spicy, tangy, and ready to wake up tacos, eggs, sandwiches, rice bowls, beans, nachos, pizza, burgers, or anything that needs a little heat. Sapling’s pickled items have quickly become top sellers for us, and this jar is an easy one to understand why.

About the farm: Sapling Farms was founded by Selvi, whose love of growing food traces back to her childhood on a farm in India. Today, Sapling grows fresh organic produce for families across the DFW area. Learn more on Sapling's Partner Page.
