Sourcing & practices

Beaty Farms raises Brangus cattle that are ⅝ Angus and ⅜ Brahman. The breed was chosen to combine Angus marbling and tenderness with the hardiness of Brahman cattle, creating beef suited to both the Texas environment and the quality standards the Beaty family has developed over generations.

The cattle are born and raised on the farm, where they spend the majority of their lives grazing wide-open pastures. The family uses rotational pasture management to support healthy forage, reduce overgrazing, and preserve the land for the generations that follow.

The cattle are grain-finished using a custom mixture developed with animal nutrition experts to provide balanced nutrition and support the flavor and quality of the beef. Beaty Farms is certified under the Texas Beef Quality Product Program, and its beef is USDA inspected.
